Good Morning August 29

When we share together in worship, Bible study, family gatherings, or other close personal relationships we experience a joy this bond of fellowship gives. Likewise, when we view things in this life, the beauty of nature, the miracle of birth, the good relationships we have with people, the truth we receive from God’s Word, the answers we have seen to prayers, the changes we have seen the Lord bring about in our life and the lives of others – all of these are little glimpses into the blessing and joy God has for us in the eternal kingdom. Paul wrote, “now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face…” (I Corinthians 13:12) There are many places in our earthly life where God gives us such a glimpse. We share in the wonder of God’s Kingdom now, and soon we shall have it in its fullness. This is the hope that sustains us in all of our days.
