Good Morning November 13

When we give thanks before meals we hold hands. When we greet a friend we shake hands. When we pray with someone in the hospital we hold their hand. When lovers walk together they hold hands. We even sing in one of the old Gospel songs, “Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me on.” There is something about holding hands that is important. It says, “I care about you. You are important to me. I will do what I can to help you. I enjoy being a part of your life.” We also hold hands across many miles through prayer, contacts by phone and mail, and even, perhaps, but these Good Morning messages. By holding hands we are never alone. So, when you take someone’s hand today remember that you are a part of others who care.
