Some people will say that they don’t believe in God because there is no real evidence for His existence. The cosmos is all there is, as Carl Sagan was famous for saying. Yet the Apostle Paul would disagree, pointing to the very cosmos as evidence. “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so they are without excuse.”(Romans 1:20) God’s hand is clearly seen in all that He has made. And even further, He did not just create the world and all that is, then move on His way to do other things. He has stayed intimately involved in His creation. From the truth of His incarnation, to the daily presence of His Holy Spirit, He works in hearts and lives to draw people to Himself. We don’t always see this as clearly as we would like, but God’s hand of love is ever on His creation for His good purpose.
